"Philadelphia: The Great Experiment" -- A Special Movie Event

East Falls Community and William Penn Charter School
| David L. Kurtz Center for the Performing Arts at Penn Charter, 3000 W. Schoolhouse Lane in East Falls

Thanks to the generosity of producer Sam Katz, William Penn Charter School, and the East Falls Community Council, East Falls will have its own screening of the pilot episode of "Philadelphia: The Great Experiment" on Tuesday, November 30 at 7:00 p.m. at the new David L. Kurtz Center for the Performing Arts at Penn Charter.  The pilot is the first in what Mr. Katz hopes will be a series of documentaries on Philadelphia's history.  The 30-minute pilot episode explores the sometimes rough-and-tumble history of Philadelphia from the end of the Civil War to the Centennial Exposition of 1876.  Mr. Katz will host a Q. & A. session following the screening.

The Kurtz Center is located at 3000 W. Schoolhouse Lane.  Admission is free.  Donations are welcome to the film project.  RSVPs to info@eastfallscommunity.org are appreciated, but not necessary.

East Falls is accessible via public transportation, including the Norristown Line/R6 Regional Rail, Chestnut Hill West/R8 Regional Rail, and several bus lines.
