Urban Studies 40th Anniversary Event: The Housing Policy Revolution: Panel and Tour
American housing policy has been reinvented over the past generation as government-centered policies have given way to an emphasis on social networks of private developers, nonprofits, and community institutions, as noted in David Erickson’s recent book, Housing Policy Revolution: Networks and Neighborhoods. Urban Studies alumni have been part of this “revolution.” To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the program, we have invited a panel of alumni who are working in the field to talk about the promises and prospects of affordable housing from their different vantage points.
