Angela Davis will be presenting the keynote address at the International Herbert Marcuse Society 2011 Conference at Penn, organized by Professor Andrew Lamas of Urban Studies.  

The conference brings together distinguished scholars, students, and activists from more than twenty countries to explore the continuing relevance of Marcuse, the Frankfurt School, and contemporary critical theories.
