Tim Portlock's Cityscapes

Scribe Video Center
| Scribe Video Center 4212 Chestnut Street 3rd Floor Philadelphia, PA, 19104

This installation features an exhibition of prints, created using special effects and 3D gaming software, that simulate real world and imagined spaces based on the abandoned and foreclosed buildings in biking distance of the artist’s home in West Philadelphia. The installation will also include Portlock’s Ghost of the Walls, a critical homage to the murals that were created during the Black Arts Movement that have been destroyed, painted over or otherwise no longer exist.
