Urban Studies is hosting its last Fall semester Virtual Alumni Chat on December 2, 2021 from 3-4 pm. Come join fellow students and Urban Studies alumni for an intimate and open conversation about their experiences navigating the major, post-grad life, and their careers.

Open to all undergraduate students, both majors and non-majors are welcome to join and ask any questions regarding undergraduate, post-graduate life and specific fields. RSVP here!

Our panelists are:

  • Alexa Salas C’2017: Second-Year Student at Penn Law; Former Program Supervisor at Puentes de Salud and Co-Founder of Lanzando Lideres 
    • Key focus and experiences: advancing social justice and equity for marginalized communities through public service. Interested in nonprofit work and law/legal education. 
  • Cheryl (Wilson) Hanson (she/her) C’1990: Cheryl Hanson Consulting LLC, Principal, Consultant for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation; Former Recruiter and Consultant at Microsoft 
    • Key focus and experiences: human resources, talent acquisition/recruitment, learning and development
