Samantha Osaki (URBS ’14) was recently published in The Philadelphia Public School Notebook, a journal dedicated to sharing the voices of those involved with Philadelphia public schools. Her article focuses on the challenges currently being faced by Dimner Beeber Middle School, which after being slated for closure a year ago was kept open by community efforts.
