Do you want to get involved in the Presidential cycle and campaigns? Then Organizing Corps 2020 is the program for you!
In order to win in critical states in 2020, there is a great need for diverse and local talent that is trained early. Organizing Corps 2020 meets this demand by helping build critical campaign infrastructure, while also investing in the next generation of campaign organizers and leaders.
Organizing Corps 2020 will recruit juniors in the spring of 2019 from local schools.
These students will work on state party priorities in an eight-week, on-the-ground training program with campaign veterans. After the training program, Corps members will return to their campuses and communities to put their organizing skills to work.
By May 2020, nearly 1,000 Corps members will graduate ready to help elect the Democratic nominee and Democrats up and down the ticket in several key 2020 states. And post 2020 - these students will become the next generation of progressive leaders, in their hometowns and cities!
The program is looking for students that are interested in taking on a leadership role to be an Organizing Corps ‘Ambassador’ or ‘Captain’ on a campus. Ambassadors are students (can be any age), on-the-ground recruiters, promoters and hype people for Organizing Corps 2020.
