URBS Students Doing The Most This Spring

Joey Jung

As we wrap up the year, the URBS department wants to give a shout-out to our wonderful students:

Urban Studies student Joey Jung had a particularly busy mid-term season this spring, organizing the annual Case Competition for Wharton Undergraduates in Public Policy, with Andrew Yang as the keynote speaker, and a number of great Philadelphia community members as judges, most notably Mayor Michael Nutter.

Urban Studies student Alisa Ghura won first place with her proposal to create an energy efficiency fund for Philadelphia schools.

Shout out to you both!
